With the heavy competition in the market, every firm has been taking initiatives for proving themselves to serve first-class services. One of those steps includes keeping a mandate dress-code for all employees which serves as a merit to employer's as well as employee's. In this essay, I will be discussing the upsides for a company and it's workers who are wearing uniforms during their duty hours.
To begin with, branded uniform of a firm always carries a logo and color which allows a business to be recognized in a general public. Consequently, this facilities a free promotion of the name without investing much on marketing. As it acts like hitting two targets with a single arrow. For instance, when a sales executive commutes wearing his company's branded shirt, he is easily identified by his team mates and need to be educate local buyers about the company. Moreover, it also represents the company's standards and exemplifies a professional image to prospective clients. Even if, the work place is crowded, a buyer can easily approach the concerned person. Thus, it proves a customer satisfaction tool.
Furthermore, there are certain number of benefits for the company's workers who are wearing uniforms. First and foremost, it protects workers from injuries and avoid accidents due to loose or shabby outfits. To exemplify, issuance of clothing like helmets, insulated boots, and other safety gears for construction workers prevents any mishaps while using machines to perform their duties. Plus, wearing such outfits builds a confidence in workers to handle dangerous machines that could cause harm without wearing a safety clothing. Lastly, there is a positive organizational structure which negates discrimination among working professionals which creates a sense of equality and has brought ambiance to the firm.
In conclusion, wearing same dress-code has numerous advantages as for the company as well as for its staff members.
