The graph illustrates the quantity of visitors who visited a particular Caribbean island from 2010 to 2017.
It is noticeable that the total number of visitors increased constantly during the 7 years since 2010, except in 2016.
There were a quarter of a million tourists staying on cruise ships, while 750,000 visitors preferred staying on the island, totaling 1 million visitors in 2010. The number of tourists who chose to stay on cruise ships had a slight increase of 0.25 million in the next year, while the rate of staying on the island remained stable and the total number of visitors increased to 1.25 million.
The number of visitors staying on cruise ships declined to 250,000 in 2012, however, tourists who liked to stay on the island increased by 1 million compared to last year, with the total visitors reaching 1,500,000 that year. After 2012, visitors who stayed on cruise ships steadily rose, whereas the number of visitors staying on the island decreased in 2016 but recovered in 2017.
