Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? After completing high school, students should take at least a year off to work or travel before they begin studying at a university. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
Throughout history, education has played a pivotal role in all societies. It is no secret that a high-quality education environmnet can pave the way for individuals success. In this regard, the inevitable question which has always casued heated debate among people is that whether individuals should dedicate their time to either work or travel before beginning studying at a university or they should study at a university without any academic gaps. from my vantage point, notwithstanding the benefits of studying in succession, the advantages of allocating at least a year off carry more weight. In the following paragraphs, I will delve into two conspicuous reasons to elaborate on my standpoint.
The most significant point to be mentioned is that working or traveling provides students with the opportunity to develop some advantageous characteristics. Accordingly, by working in a job individuals can learn some efficient skills such as problem-solving, critical-thinking and so on. Moreover, they are faced with people from different background so that they can learn tackle with various personalities. Similary, traveling makes an excellent contribution to broadening students perspective and understanding of the world which can positively affect their academic lives. Take a personal experience as an example, I used to have a friend who, after completing high school, took a year off and traveled to different parts of the world. As a result, she improved her vision of life which made her become a well-informed person. Had not she given herself enough time after high school, she would have been deprived of having unique viewpoints.
Another paramount reason to be mentioned is that taking a year off offers students to identify their intersets and passions. If people find out about what fileds they are enthusiastic, they will gain a deeper understanding of their strenghts and weeknesses. A ground-breaking study, which has been conducted recently in my hometown, revealed that those people who dedicate considerable time identifiying themselves are more likely to climb the ladder of success. As a consequence, the effect of spending time on personal development is irrefutable in achieving success in life.
To recapitulate, all the aforementioned reasons lead us to the conclusion that the benefits of taking at least a year of after high school is manumental, for it not only leads individuals to develop some practical skills, but also makes them get a deeper understanding of abilities which can guild them to become successful. As far as I am concerned, I recommend that students take their time and not hurry in continuing their higher education.

- It is more important to read or watch news presented by people whose views are different from your own than it is to read or watch news presented by those whose views are similar to your own 76

Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
