Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter is to inform you about that during my recent holiday in Malaysia, Sabah. I lost my camera. The camera is a Canon XB20, which is a brand new product, professional video camera which I use to make documentary film footage. The value of the camera was $2000 and It was only 3 months old.
The camera was lost during a transfer from Hotel to another hotel, which was from Sutra Harbor to Borneo Hotel, while on holiday. When I arrived to Borneo Hotel the camera bag was not delivered with the rest of my luggage. Unfortunately, The company responsible for the luggage transfer denied all knowledge of the camera case or whereabouts.
I believe, according to the travel insurance policy I have with your company, the camera is fully covered, since I have took up a premium insurance. Please let me know what documentation you required and what procedure I need to go through in order to make the claim.
