Overall, what stands out from the first chart is that first on the list is the protein consumption of North American people.
As can be seen from the first chart, people in North America have the highest proportion of four-fifths, including the maximum percentage of protein (62%) derived from other sources and fats and meats (18%). Coming in a distant second is the protein intake of Latin American people with approximately 45%. It is followed by the figure for East African people and the Indians, with more or less 30%, and the percentage of animal protein and other protein make up nearly equal proportions.
Moving on to the second bar chart, it is notable that the number of calories taken in by North Americans came top, at 3500. Next came people from Latin America and East Africa, with respective figures of just under 3000 and nearly 2500. In the last place is the figure for Indian people, as they only consumed 2000 calories
