The maps illustrate the city how a city centrer has changed after some developments from 1950 until now.
Overall, the city centrer has witnessed radical changes with the most noticeable being new buildings, a long lake, residential area and access roads.
In 1950, the town’s population was 20,000 and it has increased tenfold to 200,000. There was a small area for residents to the north of the major road running west to east, but now it has been expanded. However, the major road running north to south has still remained and the addition of counterparts on the bottom of the city.
The most noticeable that the A large lake has been created in the middle section of the river, with an bridge having been built to cross it. The buisiness district has been developed which is on the both sides of the river, and the residential area has surround completely it. The airport in the bottom right-hand corner has became bigger. The government building near the river has remained unchanged, although there is a new government building to the south. Futhermore, the river has been dammed in the east end of the lake.
