The graphs demonstrate the percentage of male and female staff working in terms of five kinds of positions for an engineering company between 2005 and 2015.
In 2005, the proportion of men working as vice presidents was more than 2 times the figure for women, at 70% and 32%. However, the data for male employees was equal to that of female staff, at 50% each in 2015. Similarly, standing at 58%, the percentage of male staff as managers was slightly higher than the figure for female staff, at 48% in the first year of the period, before the data for male and female employees was both 50% in the final year.
In 2005, the percentage of male staff as directors was 60% before a considerable decrease to 40% was exhibited in 2015, as opposed to a remarkable increase of 20% to 60% was seen in the figure for female staff in the same year. Meanwhile, the proportion of men remained stable at 70% from 2005 to 2015, there was a slow growth of 2% to 32% in the figure for women in the same period. In terms of administrators, the percentage of male employees was much higher than the data for female employees throughout the period, even though the figure for female employees saw a modest rise of 10% to 20% in 2015, while a moderate dip of 10% to 80% was experienced in the data for male staff in the same year.
