The line graph illustrates the percentage of families' weekly spent income in eight distinct groups in one country in 1968 and 2018.
In general, by 2018 people did not tend to spend their money in food groups and it reduced significantly.
As can be seen, there were different types of subjects that families spent their money them during the week. There was an increase in three housing, transport, and leisure groups in 2018 which was about 8%, 5%, and 13%. Although the household goods group did not change in 1968 and 2018, food, fuel and power, clothing and footware, and personal goods decreased in 2018. Among these four groups, food was approximately 18% drop, and the other three groups no longer significant. The people allocated most of their money to housing and leisure by falling into the food group.
As a result, families changed their classifications spent money in 2018, and had more like to leisure and housing by dropping it in the food group.
