Your friend invited you to go with him/her to a concert next week, however, you are unable to come. Write a letter to your friend.
In your letter
• let your friend know why you can’t go to the concert;
• suggest another activity you can do together;
• explain why you think your friend would enjoy this activity.
Dear Sam,
Hope this letter finds you well. I was ecstatic to recieve the invitation to the concert happening on coming Saturday. However, I am afraid to inform you that I will not be able to make it to the concert owing to my upcoming final presentation of Project Management the same day. Please accept my appologies in advance. I am well aware how excited you are for the concert as we were eyeing on this band for so long. Nonetheless, I am certain you will well understand my situation as you know how critical and essential this presentation is for my final grades, and for how long i have been preparing for it.
Having said that, I have another exciting plan for our long due get together. You know the snow season is coming. I have bought the wonderland tickets in advance for you and myself. You would be surprised to know that I have bought the tickets in less than half the price because of the advance booking. I have planned the whole itenerary which includes two days stay and many activities inside the wonderland. There would be night band, new year show light show coupled with fireworks.
I look forward to your confirmation.
Yours Truly,
Jack
