The flow chart shows the process of the electricity is produced from the hydroelectric power station.
Utilizing river to produce electricity need to through two equipments, which are dam and power station. Also, the power station have different operation between day and night, which depend on the dam and reversible turbines.
By day, firstly, the river flow in the reservoir. When the reservoir in a high-level, the dam will open. Then, the water flowed to generate the electricity. After that, the water accessed the power station. This power station has reversible turbines, which puts the water to generator and produce electricity through the power line, sent the power to national grid in day.
By night, the water from the low-level reservoir passed the power station, and the water need to pass the reversible turbines, which pumped the water into high-level reservoir. And then, the water flowed during the pumping. Finally, the dam closed and the water restore in the reservoir.
