Attendance in cinema hall for different age groups
The line graph illustrates the data about the percentage of people from four different age groups (7-14, 15-24, 25-35, and 35 and over) present in the cinema hall in 19 years period, starting from 1984.
Overall, it can be observed that all age groups exhibit an upward trend whereas the 15-24 age community keeps the leading position over the period.
Examining the dataset in more detail, it is clear that in 1984, about 19% of the people aged between 15-24, attended cinema halls.
After a significant growth, it reached 60% in 1994. Thereafter a little fluctuation, it was 65% in 2003 which is the highest percentage of attendance
among all groups over the period. Approximately 10% and 5% of people in 7-14 and 25-35 age groups went to the cinema halls in 1984.
After a large fluctuation over the period, it reached 33% and 35% respectively. People aged of 35 and over displayed less interest in watching the cinema in the cinema hall.
as it was almost zero in 1984. Although it shows a rising trend from 2% in 1984 to 15% in 2003, it is the lowest in the graph among all groups.
