The bar chart demonstrates the proportion of car company’s sale in 4 different continents around the world from 2006 to 2010.
Overall, Asia was the area consuming most cars of the manufacture while North America had the least percentage of selling cars. It was recorded that there was a fluctuation throughout the period.
In 2006, the ratio of car sales in Asia and Europe was 30%. In the next year, there was a gradual rise in car consumption by nearly 35% in Asia and 33% in Europe. The rate of car sales in Asia remained constant in 2008 while Europe’s percentage increased slightly to above 35% in 2008. According to the chart, at the end of the survey it was Asia whose total car sale’s proportion was 50%, growing more than 10% in comparison with 2008. Europe’s figure increased until 2008, it tended to decline to 30%, the same rate as 2006.
The percentage of South America and North America showed the downward trend during this period. The number of cars sold in South America tended to drop from 28% in 2006 to under 10% in 2010. North America also decreased until 2009, it grew to about 12% in 2010.
