Overall, the population in all parts of the world grown until 2007 and this is expected to continue by 2050.
It is easy to see that Africa and Asia, whose citizens rate tripled in 2007, had low per cent of world population with 15% and 17%, respectively. However, North America and Oceania, which had the same proportion of residents with just over a six tenth, generated the vast majority of populations. Between 1950 and 2007, Latin America and Caribbean inhabitants doubled from 42% to 76%. On the one hand, five out of ten people lived in Europe in the middle of the last century.
It is predict that the proportion of citizens will increase slightly with ranging between 76% and 90% without Africa and Asia in the rest of the urban areas. By contrast, the per cent of inhabitants of Africa and Asia will rise evenly with almost 65%.
