The bar chart shows the number of students who chose certain university subjects in 2005. Subjects are diverse including Sciences, Mathematics, Social Sciences, Languages, Humanities, The Arts (Art, Music, Drama), Literature, and Law. In general, the number of students who love social science is the highest among the subjects (about 38 thousand students), the number of students who love drawing is the lowest (about 12 thousand students). The number of male students who like sciences is the highest (about 21 thousand students), the second-highest is math (about 16 thousand male students). Languages subjects account for the lowest number of male students (about more than 1 thousand students). The highest number of female students taking social sciences subjects (about 24 thousand students), and the lowest number of female students in math (more than 4 thousand students). It is worth noting that humanities have almost equal numbers of males and females. In summary, the graph shows a clear disparity between the number of men and women in each subject.
