The bar graph shows the number of university students who chose a subject in 2005. In general, there is a difference between men and women when it comes to subject selection. Subjects that are more popular with boys than girls include science, math, physics, and law, while girls are more interested in social sciences, languages, and art than boys. Subject Humanities is a subject where the number of female students is equal to the number of male students. The most popular female subject is Social Science, accounting for nearly 25,000 students, for this subject, male are less than female 10,000 students, accounting for about 15,000 students. Science is the highest chosen by male students with more than 20 thousand students, of which female students only account for a little more than 10 thousand students. The subject that women choose to study the lowest is Mathematics, which accounts for less than 5,000 students, while men choose this subject second among boys' favorite subjects, accounting for about 20,000 students. Most male students do not like Linguistics, accounting for nearly 3,000 students, but girls like to study this subject, it is the second most popular subject among female students with more than 15,000. In summary, the distribution of subjects between men and women is not uniform.
