The given bar chart provide the data of boys and girls who succeeded in their high school competency exam during the period 2010-2011, sorted by subjects.
According to the data, there were roughly equivalents between boys and girls in more than half of the subjects. However, there were still some significant differences.
Firstly, there were dominant of female students in most of the subjects. The most significant difference were in chemistry and computer science. Especially, there was 30,2% of girls past the competency exam, more than double the percentage in that category for boys. Remaining subjects which experienced the roughly equal were history, foreign languages and mathematics.
Heading to the exception, geography was the only subject witnessed boys prevailed girls in the number of passed students. The proportion for boys acquired success in geography was nearly one third whereas the percentage of the opposite gender was only more than one fifth.
