The bar chart illustrates the data of factors deteriorating work performance in two age groups: those aged 18-30 and those aged 45-60.
Overall, according to the 18 -30 age group, the chance for personal development contributed crucially to performance at work, whereas the work environment was the minor affecting factor. However, for 45-60 people, money was the factor that wholly affected their work performance, while job security did not have much impact on work.
According to the data of young people aged 18 to 30, a flexible working environment and promotion prospects also ranked second in the bar chart, nearly 10% less than the percentage of personal development opportunities. The data on the relaxed work environment category for the 45-60 age group was almost 50% less than the proportion of the 18-30 age group. The percentage of promotion prospects for the age group 45-60 was 30% less than that of the 18-30, with approximately 50%.
Moreover, the work environment was the second aspect, to the 45-60 age group, that did not severely impact performance at work, with just 30%. The data was also the same for the age group of 18-30. The same pattern showed in the category of team spirit, where both age groups tied with more than 60%.
