The bar chart illustrates ten highest producer and consumer countries of electricity for the year 2014. In general, for most of the countries, production of electricity is slightly higher than the consumption.
To be specific, China is the highest producer as well as consumer of electricity with 5398 and 5322 billion KWh respectively. In contrast, Korea Rep is the country which produces and consumes lowest amount of electricity among the top ten nations with 435.1 and 449.5 billion KWh respectively.
Moreover, there is huge gap in the manufacturing and using electricity between United States and Russia. The difference between them is around 3000 billion KWh. To add, there is slight variation in the making and utilizing electricity for the countries Japan, India, Canada, France, Brazil, Germany and Korea Rep.
Interestingly, utilization and manufacture of electricity is almost same for the nation Russia. To add, Germany is the only country which uses electricity more than it produces.
