The bar chart shows type of media to get daily news, by age group 2011
The pie chart illustrates the percentage of three types of media to get daily news which were used by different ages in 2011.
Overall, the proportion of social networking and radio which were used by ages higher percentage than microblogging.
First of all, the proportion of social networking took the highest of 80% in 2011 at the age of 10-17 and 18-29. Secondly, this figure was about half for people who were 30-49 and followed by 40% in the age 50-64 and lower than 30% for people above 65 in the same year. Thirdly, more and less 90% of using radio for reading news were people from 18 to 65 or higher. On other hand the percentage for those who just about 10-17 used radio, which was made up 40% at the same year
By contrast, the percentage of reading news by microblogging in all the age was very low. Only people were 18-29 who used the microblogging the most, which was about higher than 20% while others were under 20% in 2011.
