The bar graph below shows the numbers of male and female research students studying six computer science subjects at a US university in 2011

The rendered bar graph compares and contrasts the number of students who studied six different subjects of computer science including linguistics, psychology, natural science, engineering, programming and mathematics in a university of United State during the year 2011.

In an overview, the most outstanding feature to be observed is that the number of male research students studying computer science subjects was maximum in comparison with female students, except linguistics.

In detailed analysis, the number of women in majority while choosing linguistics with 120 as against as men with 80. Noticeably, preference to psychology showed an opposite trend of linguistics, merely 50 numbers of students different can be witnessed, when it comes to psychology. surprisingly, both gender had similar interest in a subject of nature science with 200 students for each.

Turning to rest of description, two-times as many male students were opting programming as compared with female research students, 150 in total. For selecting engineering, students especially males were same in number as they were in programming. Interestingly,the number of male students in comparison with female research students was realitively larger in terms of studying mathematics
