The graph illustrates data with regard to the ownership of vehicles by people lived in Great Britain between 1976 and 2000.
Overall, the proportion of people who possesed one and two vehicles declined, but two remained categories( 0 along with 3 vehicles) rose over the span of 40 years.
Looking more closely at the details, in 1960 60% of the British people owned a single car. However, after 20 years this index narrowed to 36% and it continued steadily until 2000. The figures for people possesed two vehicles gradually increased in contrast to former group. To be specific, it reached merely 40%, and then took the lead in the year 2000.
Additionally, solely three per cent of the households had three cars in 1960. After a decade it constituted five per cent. In 1980, it grew threefold, then it stedied. The percentage of people who did not own any vehicle made up just under 20% . It slowly decreased to ten per cent over the course of four decades.
