The line graph depicts the incomes of doctors and other workers in thousands of dollars in the US and six other European countries in 2004.
Overall, people in the US had the highest salaries in both employment fields, while the lowest salaries paid for other workers were in Italy, the Czech Republic, and Germany, and for doctors, it was Finland.
It can be seen that doctors’ income in the US was almost double compared with other countries, at $120,000. The second-highest income for this area was in France and Switzerland, at about $70,000. In contrast, the smallest income for doctors was only $50,000 in Finland. Doctors in the remaining countries earned approximately 60,000 dollars per year in 2004.
Regarding incomes for the other workers, people in the US still had the biggest earnings in this section, at about $45,000, followed by Switzerland, France, and Finland, at $40,000, $30,000, and $25,000, respectively. The smaller income in this section belonged to the three left countries, at 20,000 dollars.
