The chart below illustrates the number of time the American went to restaurants to consume processed food in a decade.
Overall, as can be seen, most of the people spent on eating fast food once time a week or several times a month, by contrast, the proportion of residents never or regularly go to the restaurant was the lowest over the period shown.
The most striking feature is the number of people consume junk food in restaurants once time a week in 2006 (around 33%) which was followed by a moderate decrease in the next 6 years. The figure for the consumer just once or twice a month significantly rose to approximately 33%.
There was a dramatic increase in consumer numbers several times a week peaking at about 20% in 2006, while 2013 observed an upward pattern in consumer numbers a few times a year. The number of people never went to restaurants to eat fast food or those did as a daily basis slightly dropped to the lowest point, mere hovering from 3 to 4 %.
