The chart illustrates how of households in privated and rented accommodation in England and Wales from 1918 to 2011 .
Overall,there was an increase in the percentage of households in owned,while the figures for rented accommodation decreased significantly over the period examined.It is also clear that the share of households in owned accommodation had by far the highest figures throughout the period .
The proportion of households in rented accommodation started at 77%,after which it experienced a significant decrease to exactly 50%.Conversly,the figures for owner increased incredibly from 23% to 50%, and gain the same with renter.
From1981,the share of households in rented accommodation in two countries rose gradually ,before reaching j45% of households.The opposite trend can be seen in the figures for the another(owner),which grown sharply from 60% to 65% in the last year , despite a insignificant decrease between 2001 and 2011.
