The chart shows the average daily minimum and maximum levels of air pollutants in 4 cities in 2000. Summarise the information and Write at least 150 words.
Given is the bar chart depicting the average minimum and maximum levels of SO2 and N20, which caused pollution in four distinct areas, namely Los Angeles, Calcutta, Bejing, and Mexico City on a daily basis in 2000.
It is conspicuous that Mexico City had the highest figures for contaminants compared to the three remaining cities. Besides, the amount of N20 in the atmosphere in Los Angeles and Mexico City was higher than that of SO2, while the reverse was true for Calcutta and Beijing.
Perceptibly, the maximum figure of N20 was emitted dominantly in Mexico City with 207 micrograms per m3 which were higher more than twofold than the smallest data. Moreover, these figures were slightly higher than the release of SO2 with 200 and 80 micrograms per m3, respectively. Similarly, this pattern happened in Los Angeles where the amount of N2O raged from 39 to 104 micrograms per m3; however, SO2 pollutant was discharged negligibly.
When it comes to the number of air pollutants released in Calcutta and Beijing, 100 and lower four times microgram per m3 SO2 was the highest and lowest figures documented in the latter metropolis while in the former city this quantity not disparity significantly from 47 to 59 microgram per m3. Additionally, the amount of N20 was under 55 micrograms per m3 in both areas.
