The given bar chart illustrates the proportion of gender passing their driving exam in a nation located in Asia throughout the period from 1980 to 2010.

Overall, it can be seen that the percentage of women who passed their driving test was more than that of men over period shown. Meanwhile, there were several changes in the amount of women who got a driving liscence while some slight shifts were seen in that of men.

In 1980, nearly 50% of women in the Asian country passed the driving exam, compared to men who was much lower, at roughly 30%. Subsequently, although figure for men increased by nearly 10% to about 38% over the course of 10-year period , it was still lower than figure for women which simultaneously rose slightly to just over 50%.

From 1990 to 2000, an upward trend was seen in both figure for men and women. While the percentage of women who passed the driving test reached its peak at approximately 68%, that of men went up moderately to almost 50%. During the last 10-year period, there was a slight drop in proportion of women whereas that of men remained stable.
