The charts below show the average percentages in typical meals of three types of nutrients, all of which may be unhealthy if eaten too much.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The three pie charts illustrate average proportion of sodium, saturated fat and added sugar in typical in the USA. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks are involved in invested meals.

As is seen from the given illustration, most of sodium and saturated fat are taken in dinner, while added sugar content is highest in snacks. On the contrary, the consumption of three nutrients is smallest in breakfast.

As for the absorption of sodium, the consumption of it is largest in dinner, occupying 43% of the total intake, which is 14% larger than the share of sodium consumed in lunch. Breakfast and snacks both contain 14% of the sodium, which is approximately half of the share of sodium in dinner. Dinner is also loaded with saturated fat(37%), followed by the figure in lunch at 26%. The amount of fat is relatively small in snacks and breakfast, accounting for 21% and 16% respectively.

In the other hand, people ingest highest level of added sugar when having snacks, making up 42% of overall added sugar consumption, while the figure in dinner is only 20%. Compared with dinner, lunch contains slightly lower proportion of the sugar, and people only take 16% of it during breakfast.
