The bar charts show how people of various age groups are more prone to purchase tickets online for cinema, theater and concert events in Australia, UK and Malaysia. Their preferable means of ticket purchases are also detected.
To begin with, in Australia and the UK the percentage of people aged between 25 and 40 for both tickets online was significantly higher than the same category of customers in Malaysia and was approximately 54%, while in Malaysia a mere 37% of people of the same age group could buy the tickets online. Furthermore, the elderly in Australia were more likely to use the Internet to purchase tickets than in the UK or Malaysia and were nearly half the total percentage. It is also next to those that the elderly people in Malaysia were involved in the line tickets to cheer this more than their younger compatriots.
Besides, the most common way used to buy tickets was personal computer in all countries with approximately 60% of purchases done in this way. Obviously, laptops had the second level among preferable ways of access with average 40% in Australia and Malaysia and a noticeably lower in the UK (30%).
Overall, it is obvious that the most active age group in online purchase was 25-44 and the most popular access to purchase tickets was the desktop computer.
