The graphs depict what UK graduated and postgraduate students who did not go into full-time work did after leaving college in 2008.
It can clearly be seen that amount of graduate students much more then number of postgraduate students. Overall, part-time work is the most popular destination excluding full-time work and further study.
As is presented in the first diagram, the number of students who decided to go to further study is 26,955 and it takes huge difference in comparison with 3,500 students who devoted their time voluntary work in 2008. We can see that approximately 26,000 students more preferred to keep studying instead of voluntary work. It is obvious that part time work and unemployment are resembled with 17,735 and 16,235 respectively.
First of all, the rating of destinations in the second bar diagram quite similar as it was in the previous: further study the most popular between postgraduate students and voluntary work is the less demanded destination with 2,725 and 345 respectively. However, the difference between part-time work and unemployment have sharply increasing; nearly 1,000 more students decided to work instead of wasting of time.
