The charts illustrates the number of speed camera's in use for 4 years along with the the accidents and death percentage for the same year.
Overall, there was a sharp increase and decrease in death percentage for the year 2005. However the speed cameras numbers were close to 150.
Firstly the number of speed camera in Melbourne in the year was about 25 numbers, whereas the following year the numbers wrose to close to 50 in numbers. Likewise in the two years there was a drastic fluctuation in the accident percentage. In 2002 the percentage was in between 3 and 4, whereas in 2003 the percentage was slightly above 3. There was a fairly stable numbers in case of death which was at slightly below 1 percentage for 2002 and 2003.
Secondly, the highest camera in use was during 2005. Although the accident percentage wrose to almost 4 percentage in 2005, the trend for death was seen rising sharply until mid of 2005 following which reduced close to 1 percentage at 2005.
