The pie charts compare figures for volunteers participating in six different organizations in 2008 and 2014.
It is clearly seen that the proportion of people volunteering in environmental and sport organizations increased considerably whereas there was less participation from volunteers for other types from 2008 to 2014. Additionally, the lowest rate of volunteers worked in health care during the period.
In 2008, 24% of total volunteers took part in educational organizations being the most common choice while the percentage of people volunteering in environmental and art projects made up for 21%, 18 % respectively. Sport organization had the same rate as others (15%) while only 7% of volunteers worked in health care.
In 2014, the figures for environmental and sport projects grew up significantly, at 29% and 25% respectively whereas the proportion of volunteers choosing health care was only 1% higher than that in 2008. On the other hand, there was a dramatic decrease in participants working in art, educational and others, accounting for 12%, 24% and 9% of the total.
