The graph below shows the number of enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office in one city over a six-month period in 2011.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The line graph provides information about how many inquiries sent to the Tourist Information Office in a certain city in the first half of 2011.
It is clearly seen that the figure for inquiries in person and telephone went up considerably whereas there was a dramatic decline of that by letter of email.
In January, the Tourist Information Office collected about 900 enquiries while person mode only received over 400 enquiries which was the lowest number compared to the remaining modes. Over the next three month, the telephone was still the most common method of communication, at nearly 1000 enquiries.
From March to the end of period, it witnessed a significant fluctuation in three means of the Tourist Information Office. The number of enquiries in person increased dramatically from 800 to approximately 2000 while the telephone also collected 1600 enquiries which were almost doubled from the beginning of the period. On the contrary, the figure for enquiries received by letter or email witnessed a significant decrease.
