Essay topics:

The diagram below shows how ethanol fuel is produced from corn.

The Flow chart shows how ethanol fuel is produced from corn. Firstly, the corn from the fields is reaped from the farm and are then taken to the storing area near to their industry. As the fresh corn cannot be directly put into the process for getting the main product ethanol, they are stored for some time. Later, the stored corn are ready for milling and when all the corns are milled properly, then they are cooked for about 4 hours.

Cooking is a sub process which requires a substantial amount of water and after completion of the 4 hour cooking period, the cooked corn are then fermented for a long time , generally 2 days or 48 hours. The fermentation process is an important stage for ethanol fuel production . After this the fermented corn is separated to get the liquid and this separation process also gives a by product which is in solid state.

Now the liquid has lot of unwanted material which would hamper the quality of the final ethanol fuel if not purified. Hence, the next step is to purify the liquid which is a 5 hour process. Finally when the liquid purification is done now the end product (ethanol fuel) is stored in containers and then after the final ethanol fuel is transported to places.
