In the first step in making ethanol fuel from the corn process, corn is harvested and then stored in a large warehouse to ensure their safety. Following this, these corn are milled in a specific machine before moving on to the cooking process. During the milling stage, the corn is mixed with water and this resulting mixture is cooked for 4 hours.
In the next step, the mixture undergoes a fermentation process, which takes place in 2 days, and the ethanol is produced after this stage. After that, the fermented mixture is separated into 2 parts: pure ethanol liquid and solid by-products. It takes 5 hours for the resulting ethanol to be purified in order to remove any impurities. Finally, this purifying ethanol is stored on large trucks for a certain time and then transported to gas stations ready to be consumed.
