The diagram below shows the process by which bricks are manufactured for the building industry. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The diagram illustrates, the process in which bricks are made for the building industry. It’s clear that there are seven consecu?ve steps in this process, beginning with the digging up of clay and culmina?ng in delivery.
First, the raw material, clay, which lies just beneath the soil’s surface in certain clay-rich areas, must be excavated by a digger. Then, lumps of clay are placed on a metal grid, in order to break up the big chunks of clay into much smaller pieces, which fall through the metal grid into a roller, whose mo?on further segregates the clay par?cles. Following this, sand and water are added to form a homogeneous slurry, which is the either molded in molds or cut into brick shaped pieces using a wire cu?er. Next, the fresh bricks are placed in a drying oven for 24-48 hours, several dozen, if not hundreds of bricks at a ?me. In the subsequent stage, the bricks go through a hea?ng and a cooling process. They are heated in a kiln at a moderate and then high temperature (ranging from 200 Celsius to 1300 Celsius). Followed by cooling down the finished bricks for 48-72 hours in a cooling chamber. Finally, a?er the bricks have cooled down and hardened they are packed and delivered to their des?na?on.
