The diagram below shows a small local museum and its surroundings in 1957 and 2007.
The presented maps depict the changes to the layout of a small domestic museum and its surroundings between 1957 and 2007.
Overall, as well as becoming less environmentally friendly, the museum diversified its room and came equipped with a new car park.
In 1957, there was a small path leading to the museum’s entrance hall that branches off from the main road. The museum could be accessed by an entrance hall on the south side, which led visitors directly to the national history exhibition, while immediately to the right of this entrance hall was a museum storeroom, and to the left was a local history room. Moreover, there was a large garden with many different genres of trees outside the museum.
By 2007, the library had been transformed completely. Specifically, the small path branching from the main road was removed, while a new car park was constructed outside the museum. The entrance hall became the entrance that led to a museum shop instead of a local history room in 1957. Adjacent to the museum shop was the reception, which led visitors directly to the local history room. At the right corner of the museum, a new café was built next to the reception and local history room. At the top of the museum, special exhibitions and an education center were scaled down and consolidated in the same size as the local history room. Meanwhile, trees were removed to serve the modernization and diversification of the museum.
