The diagram below shows the stages and equipment used in the cement-making process, and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes.

The first diagram in this task depicts all the stages as well as tools needed for making cement. The second diagram illustrates how cement can be utilized for producing concrete which can be used for building purposes.

Overall cements can be produced in different stages where the fundamental raw materials are passed through several stages. On the other hand, this cement is incorporated with several materials and then again goes to many stages to create concrete.

Firstly, the raw materials needed for producing cement are limestone and clay. Initially, they are crushed and then they are passed through a mixer to produce a powder. This powder is then heated up with the help of a rotating heater. The heated powder is again crushed using a grinder and finally, our desired cement is produced. In the end, this cement is sold after putting them into bags.

Secondly, in order to create concrete, various raw materials are needed. Concrete is originated using cement, water, sand and gravel. Gravels are basically nothing but small stones and they constitute half in proportion for making concrete. The second-highest proportion belongs to sand and they constitute one-fourth of the total proportion. Our desired cement is only used in 15% wheres the least constituent in water which is 1/10th in total proportion. All of these materials are then put into concrete and finally our coveted concrete is created.
