The diagram illustrate the stages and the equipments used in cement manufacturing and how cement is used in construction.

The first diagram depicts the processes that are involved in the fabrication of cement. The foremost process is called Crushing. It is the simplest process in which the raw materials are crushed with the machine known as crusher. Crusher converts Limestone and clay into powdered form.After transforming into the powdered from the powder is mixed together and sent in the rotating heater where heat is supplied from an external source. Grinder is used to finely grind the heated mixture . The crushed part is known as Cement which is further packed in bags for further useage in construction

At the construction site the cement is converted to concrete. Cement is first diluted with 10%water in a concrete mixer. About 25% of sand and 50% of gravel is added into the concrete mixer . Gravel is called as small stones in plain language. This mixer turns cement to concrete. Concrete is used as the hold between bricks.
