The diagram below shows two different processes for manufacturing black tea.

The illustration gives an information about how to produce a black tea in two ways. Overall, it is noticed in producing a quality black tea has several stages whether through traditional or modern approach.

In the beginning, farmers harvest the tea leaves by hand, which is supposed to take the top 2 layer-leaves for the best quality. Soon after, dewatering the leaves to decrease over half of the humidity by utilizing an air ventilator. The next step can be done by using two different procedures; traditional and modern methods which are almost similar. In the traditional one, the making process use a roller in order to create a smooth loose tea. Another technique which is faster, by making tea-leaves are cut in a small quantity and curled in a particular form.

The final stage is fermentation which is used either the earlier or latest scheme. During this phase, by blending air and enzymes that are used for chemical reaction in terms to change the color of tea. Shortly afterwards, the black tea is heated in an oven with a high temperature degree and release almost 100 % of moisture. Finally, the black tea imparts a flavor and aroma.
