The given diagrams illustrate the silkworm’s life cycle and the phases of producing the silk cloths.
It can be clearly seen, the lifecycle of silkworms consists of 4 stages, while silk clothes are produced in 5 steps.
According to the first diagram explains the four stages of butterflies, the first stage starts with eggs then converting to silkworm larva after 10 days. After that silkworm larva feeds on the mulberry leaf to transfer to silk thread during 4-6 weeks. Furthermore, in the third stage, it stays 3-6 days before turning to cocoon. Lastly, and after 16 days the cocoon becomes a moth. Likewise, this process repeated again to start the new life.
When it comes to the second diagram gives information about the fifth steps of the producing of silk clothes. At this point, the production begins with cocoon which it is boiled. Then after that twisted. If the length becomes 300-900m, it forms a dye.
