Given is the lay-out of a student shared room depicting the changes in facility arrangement 5 years ago to present.
It is conspicuous that there are several adjustments eventuated with more room equipment in the common room throughout the years shown. Furthermore, space is made use of to create convenience for students.
Further north of the room, distinct kitchen appliances were put to serve for cooking purpose with a sink, a cupboard, two benches, a microwave and a refrigerator, which were all arranged next to altogether. However, 5 years later sees a difference in the number of items put in this area with a new added microwave replacing the room of the old bench. Moreover, a new drinks machine is now facilitated next to the refrigerator along with the appearance of television and some armchairs on the bottom right corner.
In terms of shared space for students, the room was full with four round tables with the company of every six chairs for each. In opposition, at present, one large rectangular table for 8 people replaces the position of the one adjacent to the main door. Another difference is the appearance of a long bench for laptop users which is located between a round table and the area for watching Television.
