The table illustrates the figures for internet costumes in five European countries in 2004, 2000, and 2004. The pie chart shows the proportion of sales online in Germany, Switzerland, and France in 2004.
It is clear that the figure for the internet user in the UK was the biggest in 1995, with 16 million people shopping online while it increased dramatically to 42 million by 2004, in 1995. The number of internet users in Switzerland, France, and Spain shows a slight increase from 1 to 4, 2 to 6 and 0.5 to 2 respectively. In contrast, the figure for Germany user witnessed a dramatic increase from 5 to 314 between 1995 and 2000, after which it dropped to 15 in 2004.
It is an interesting notice that the percentage of online selling in France was the biggest in three Europe in 2004, with about 45% of users choosing shopping online While there are approximately 22% of selling online covered by German in 2004. Switzerland represents about 33% of internet shopping in Europe (2004).
To conclude, the number of UK internet user saw a stable increase and the percentage of online shopping in France was the largest in 2004.
