It is evident from the table that during the research period, the UK was by far the country having the highest number of Internet users. Additionally, the pie chart indicates that French residents were more fond of doing shopping via the Internet.
Regarding the table, in 1995, there were 16 million UK’s people utilising the Internet, which outnumbered the figure for Germany by two to one, at 5 million individuals .At the same time, the quantities of France and Switzerland were dwarfed by that of Germany, at 2 and 1 respectively, compared to only 0.5 million Spain’s inhabitants accessing to the Internet. By 2004, UK’s citizens were more inclined to use this invention, with 41 million people, whereas after having upsurged to 314 in 2000, the number of Germany dropped tremendously to 15 in 2004.
