The graph and chart below give information about species extinction and the threats to plant life

A closer look at the line chart shows the number of plant and animal becoming destroyed, and the causes that affect the plant life will be shown at pie chart.

The number of plant and animal extinctions was more or less 4,000 million species in initial years and it is predicted to a dramatic rise, then reaching a peak in 2060 at 50,000 million species. However, for the next 4 decades, this estimated to decrease steadily around 28,000 million species.

In terms of human activity which can endanger the plant habitat, the proportion is 81.3%, and four times higher than natural events at 18.7%. Those events include natural disaster with around more than one in twenty, and a decrease of 4% in other natural occurrences. In the agriculture factor, such factor is the most contributive among all at 18.7%, followed by harvesting and development, with 14.4% and 10.4% respectively. The percentage of logging, livestock, disturbance, invasive species and other human activity is under one in ten, and the plantation has 4.7% which is the least proportion of plant life threats.

Clearly, the extinction of the plant and animal is caused by many factors.
