The graph below gives information about the percentage of the population in four Asian countries living in cities from 1970 to 2020, with predictions for 2030 and 2040.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The line graph illustrates the proportion of residents living in cities in four separated countries. It depicts not only the increase in the number of citizens from 1970 to 2020, but it is also estimated the tendency of population growth in the following decades.

It is obvious that Malaysia at the most time contributes to the highest figures, specifically after 2020. From 1970 to 2000, Indonesia possed the lowest rank of having people living in urban. However, that place has been left for Thailand since 2010. Indonesia has fluctuated the most, becoming 2nd runner-up even though it used to have the smallest amount of city people. Overall, the country with perfectly seems to remain the same is Philippines, with a slight change in only 1990.

Starting with the outstanding growing up, Malaysia has been extremely overstated about its development ability. It is recorded that Malaysia was only 30% at the beginning; nonetheless, it has a considerable thriving. In 2020, this country weighed approximately three-fourths and is projected to reach a very great proportion of urbanites. Malaysian townsman development constantly booms, if there are no policies to help them eliminate this speed, it will lead to enormous bad consequences. Otherwise, there is also shown Indonesia first strongly increased in 2010 although it was the lowest from 1970 to 2000. Locating at the top, Indonesia will face up to a few challenges with a ground-breaking population.

The two countries left here are Philippines and Thailand. Obviously, the figures of the two countries are at an acceptable level. Thailand is the only country stable, just getting a small minority over the years. However, Thailand is predicted to dramatically go up in the next ten years, and reach nearly half in 2040. Compared to the previous years of Thailand, it seems not that much. Besides, the special line here is demonstrated for the city-dweller growth of Philippines, which is the one and only country that has the longest declining slope when focusing on the 1990 to 2010 period. Generally, Phillipines has the steady growth in town-dweller from the past to the predicted future.

To recapitulate, the whole four countries here tend to increase with the highest rate belonging to Malaysia, and in contrast, it ranks for Thailand. That is to say, urbanites in all four nations will boom in the near future.
