The graph below shows the amount of money spent on books in Germany, France, Italy and Austria between 1995 and 2005.
Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

The line graph indicate the amount of money people spent on buying books in 4 different countries from 1995 to 2005. In general, the total spent in all countries increase during the period, with Germany remained the highest of all.

Germany initially had 80 millions dollars spent on books in 1995. This number continued to increase until it reached 90 millions in 1999. Although experienced a fall during the next 4 years, the figure climbed back and eventually passed 90 millions in 2005. Meanwhile, the expenditure on books in France gradually grow during the period, with a rise of about 20 millions dollars between 1995 and 2005.

As can be seen from the graph, Austria had the most dramatic increase during the period. With just 30 millions dollars spent in 1995, it rose by 10 millions in 1999 and 2001 and then skyrocketed to over 70 millions in 2005. Italy spent exactly 50 millions on books in 1995, then slightly increase to
60 millions in 2005, which was the lowest of the four countries.
