The graph below shows the average monthly use of a health club in Miami, Florida by all full-time members in 2013. The pie chart show the age profile of male and female members.

The graph provides information about how many full-time female and male members came to a fitness club in Miami on each month of the year 2013. Meanwhile, the pie chart illustrates the proportion of three demographic groups of the membership.

Overall, there were more male member than female counterpart in general. It is seems both sexes numbers followed the same fluctuation pattern, where the figures gradually increased and hit its peak from June to September then slowly dropped. In addition, a vast majority of the club members aged from 21 to 45.

Between January and May, the number experienced a slow increase in both genders. To be precise, male figure started from about 550 people and ended up at just above 700 people by May, while female set point was slightly lower, around 500 people, and went up to just under 600 people. In the next four months, the figure of both sexes soared up dramatically and hardly changed until October. In order words, the number of male reached its highest point at approximately 850 people for each month. Likewise, women number was around 700 to 750 people in this period. When September ended, the total use of the club also dropped and ended up at approximately 600 and 500 for male and female, respectively.

Regard the pie chart, it indicates that about half of club members were from 21 to 45 years old, 55% for male and 51% for female. Furthermore, there were about a third of the members were older than 65 years old, in which female proportion was 7% higher than their counterpart. In the others age group, the percentage was virtually small, there were about 17% to 20% of the members belong to this group.
