The line graph highlights statistics regarding the amount of carbon dioxide which was discharged by every per person in three different countries (the UK, Portugal and Italy)over a forty-year period from 1967 to 2007.
Overall, what stands out from the graph is that there was considerable upward trends in the carbon dioxide emissions of Italy and Portugal, while the amount of CO2 discharging in Sweden and The Great Britain say a gradual decrease over period covered by the graph. Another interesting point is that the emission stage in in the United Kingdom was the highest degree in 1967.The lowest CO2 emissions witnessed in Sweden in 2007.
In 1967, the UK and Sweden had the highest emissions per person with around 11 metric tones and 9 tones respectively. Portuguese people had much lower output with under 2 metric tones, Italians about double this. Over the next decade, dioxide emissions reached a peak with just over 10 tones before going down suddenly. By the end of period Swedens reduced their emissions to under 6 tones while the UK, the figure had decreased dramaticly to around 9 tones.
