In 1979 , beef had the highest consumption at 225 grams as opposed to
fish , the lowest , which accounted for about 60 grams. chicken was as popular as lamb.
Approximately 150 grams of them were consumed.
By 1989 , there were some fluctuations in chicken and beef which made
the amount of consumption similar at 190 grams. but , chicken was likely to be more favorable than beef.
Despite some fluctuations in the consumption of lamb , it gradually decreased over period. People chose to eat lamb
around 100 grams compared to fish which slightly decreased to about 50 grams.
In 2004, chicken was in the first choice for eating. about 250 grams of it were consumed while beef
dramatically dropped to almost 100 grams. In terms of lamb consumption , it continually fell and ending at
around 60 grams whereas fish consumption fluctuated but likely to remained constant
Overall , beef , which used to be favorite , has a significant drop in comsumption while chicken become more preferable
and has a dramatic rise. In addition , the popularity of other foods decreased over the time.
