The given line graph shows information from the research into how much Burnaby public Library’s books were read by male and female readers during the period 2011-2014. The units are measured in two groups of opposite genders.
Overall, according to the data, there was a growing tendency in the numbers books consumed by male members of the public. Whereas, this number in female category experienced a decrease in the end of the period.
To be specific, there were just approximate 3000 books were read by male readers in 2011. However, after witnessed a slight increase in 2012, the number then upsurge rapidly for the rest of the period. Finally, when the survey was taken again in 2014, there were around 14000 books which were read by male readers.
Turning to the opposite gender, in 2011, there were about 5000 books borrowed from the Burnaby public Library by women members. this number rose gradually in the following years and reach its peak at 10000 of books borrowed. In the last year of the period taken survey, the number declined significantly by 2000 books.
